Senior Credit Analyst / Credit Manager
Remote (US, EST/CST preference)
High-growth, early stage fintech building credit card products, initially focused on super-prime customers with plans to expand into broader lending and deposit products. Lean, experienced team with a strong focus on efficient scaling and unit economics.
Role:
Own credit strategy and portfolio performance for the prime credit card. Responsible for underwriting, line assignment, and lifecycle policies to drive profitable growth while maintaining strong credit quality. Partner closely with Product and Data Science to scale decisioning.
Responsibilities:
Own underwriting strategy, approval criteria, and line assignment.
Monitor and optimize portfolio performance across approval rates, losses, utilization, and vintages.
Partner with Data Science on models, segmentation, and testing.
Run test-and-learn experiments across cutoffs, line sizing, and policies.
Manage lifecycle strategies including line management and account actions.
Align credit strategy with growth, CAC efficiency, and LTV.
Support leadership reporting and help build scalable credit processes.
Qualifications:
3–8 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or portfolio management (credit cards or consumer lending preferred).
Strong analytical skills with experience using bureau data, models, and segmentation.
Deep understanding of the credit lifecycle from originations through portfolio management.
Proven ability to balance growth and risk.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with strong communication skills.
